r POSITION SUMMARY:
r Using our Shanghai lab as a base, this role will suit a technologist with business acumen, who understands and meets the technical marketing/applications needs of Advanced Energy’s customers and is a primary source guiding customer solution on product features, performance and direction for new customer applications or product capabilities.
r The position is requiring a thorough understanding of current and emerging process requirements through direct engagement with Product Mangers, FAEs, project designers at both Advanced Energy.This will be a technical customer facing role who will also work directly with Product Marketing and Product Management internally providing value ａｄｄ propositions for our customers.
r ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
r 1.Provide technical support for customers and to the broader Sales and FAE team
r 2.Provide technical support to match customer’s requirements with MPS solutions & build
r technical relationships within these engineering communities.
r 3.Shares advanced technical knowledge of AE’s products and technology, as well as industry process requirements and trends, to enable successful deployment of AE’s technology to customers.
r 4.Participate within AE (Marketing, Product Management, Engineering and Sales) in support of new product development and new business opportunities.
r 5.Assists Field Applications Engineers (FAEs) with understanding advanced or difficult customer requirements to secure new design wins.
r 6.Builds trust and partner with product management and customer-based teams to define and implement solutions to achieve business development goals.
r 7.Application analysis and solutions: Asist technical analysis for the applications, provide solutions for application issues from power standpoints, and provide the verifications of the solutions
r EDUCATION
r -Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Physics
r -Desirable: Advanced Degree in Engineering or Physics
r EXPERIENCE
r -Essential:
r * 2+ years of hands-on experience in related technologies (high Voltage is optimal)
r * Working knowledge of AE market segment/product group technology (AC/DC and DC/DC SELV & high voltage power supplies).
r * Experience with computer driven diagnostic equipment, measurement instrumentation, data analysis.
r * Excellent technical and non-technical verbal and written communication skills.
r * Must be able to influence decisions and actions with customers as well as technical and marketing groups within AE.
r * Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the medical industry.
r * Good communication skills in both Chinese and English
r -Desirable:
r * 4+ years of experience working directly with the specific customers, products, and applications in the assigned AE market segment.
r * Experience with industry standards and user groups.
r WORK ENVIRONMENT
r 1. Works in a standard office environment and engineering lab.
r 2. Uses electronic equipment and can work with high voltage.
r 3. Domestic travel of up to 20%.
r 4. Interfaces with internal and external customers.
r 5. Onsite technical support at customer locations.
