DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 工作职责:
1、Patient Care ｄｅｌivery - General
? Assess patients including psychosocial status and escalate based onorganization protocol
? Identify patients’ age-specific needs
? Plan care based on patients’ needs
? Prioritize nursing care based on identified needs and assessment data
? Identify patients who are at risk of complications
? Monitor patients for changes in status and identify indications ofdeteriorating in condition
? Perform procedures based upon patients’ clinical status
? Collect specimens for laboratory tests
? Administer medications including narcotics by various routes
? Administer blood or blood products, monitoring for signs and symptomsrelated to transfusion reactions
? Monitor and evaluate laboratory data, and escalate for criticalresults
? Compile and analyze data obtained from monitoring or diagnostic tests
? Provide education and emotional support to patients and families
? Document patients’ medical histories, assessment findings, treatmentplans and interventions, and outcomes
? Collaborate with other health care professions to develop and revisetreatment plans based on identified needs and assessment data
2、Patient Care ｄｅｌivery – Specialty
? Perform skin exams, assess, monitor and treat skin wounds, mainly burns
? Provide pre-and post-procedural care for clients who are undergoingtreatment for a variety of akin conditions and diseases
? ｍａｓｔｅｒ topical medications and other dermatology conditions,medications, and procedures
? Educate each patient on how to protect their skin and care for skindiseases and conditions at home.
? Assist dermatologist with the diagnosis and treatments for specialtyrelated conditions
? Assist with majority of the procedures using specialized medicalequipment, including cosmetic dermatology
3、Quality and Safety
? Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying withprocedures, rules, and regulations
? Ensure smooth operation of equipment by completing preventivemaintenance requirements, calling for repairs, and evaluating newequipment and techniques.
? Maintain patient’s confidentiality
? Build rapport with patients and families
? Advocate for patients’ and families’ needs
? Participate in quality improvement activities
4、Clinical Teaching and Supervision
? Provide clinical supervision to new nursing staff and/or nursing students
5、Leadership and Management
? Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
? Coordinate with other members of the healthcare team regarding theprovision of care
6、Professional Development
? Maintain and enhance professional and technical competency byattending educational activities and participating in professional societies
? Fulfill CNE requirement of attaining at least 30 hours ofprofessional learning related to own practice area
7、Perform any other duties as assigned

? 5 to 8 years of working experience in nursing field with 3 to 5 yearin specialty area

? Sound clinical reasoning, judgement, decision making and problemsolving skills
