1. Job Summary
The main responsibility of UM is to satisfy our customers and reach the operational objectives.
In compliance with the service contract and Sodexo Les Incontournables, manage the unit
operation comprehensively. A Unit Manager leads his/her staff to satisfy our clients and
customers through operational excellence. Ensure within his/her staff the respect,
understanding and application of Sodexo philosophy, core values and ethical principles as well
as all company policies and take the responsibility of people development. Promote the
Sodexo image and expand existing services scope and develop new business.
2. Main Responsibilities
- Ensures regular communication with Client designated contacts and influential people
- Collects client’s ideas via Food Committee’s meetings, service satisfaction surveys etc, develops action plans with the Area Manager and takes responsibility of the implementation
- Ensures daily and active communication with the customers during service time by his/her presence, answers customers’ questions, and handles complaints within the limits of authority
- Supervises and coordinates activities of the staffs , strictly implements operation regulations to ensure service quality
- Understands clients’ needs & service development opportunities and timely promotes temporary and permanent food services
- Trains his/her staff on Employee handbook, company regulations, hygiene & safety and professional skills
- Proposes to superior, with evidence, any appropriate reward and punishment for his/her staff
- In line with the service contract and operational finance objectives, supervises and inspects his/her subordinates on cost control, ensures to achieve the financial targets.
- Supervises and inspects the subordinates’ respect on Hygiene & Safety Incontournable, ensures of the employees’ standardizedoperations
