Responsibilities:
Together with the Director of Commercial Strategy & Director of Sales, agree and implement a rate structure for corporate and travel trade market segments for Mainland China for the properties of Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong and The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong KongWork with the regional sales office in assigned territories to achieve production targetsResponsible for executing sales action plan to service corporate, travel trade and MICE segments for Mainland ChinaService and greet VIP guests or groups upon arrival and farewell them upon departureResponsible for sales activities in Mainland China with regular sales trips to China as needed and determined by Director of SalesSecure, analyze, and evaluate economic and marketing information on China market, share regularly with sales actions implementationMonitor sales activities of competitors and prepares appropriate strategies for review with Director of SalesPerform any other reasonable duties as required by the department head
Requirements:
Degree holder in Business Management, Hospitality Management or relevant discipline3- 5 years relevant experience preferably in luxury hotelsAble to liaise effectively with travel trade accountsDedication to providing great customer serviceSelf-motivated, willing to learn and able to work under pressure with tight timelineGood communication and negotiation skills with both internal and external guestsExcellent written and spoken English and fluent PutonghuaCandidates with less experience can be considered as Sales Manager – China
