Fabric QA:
principal duties & responsibilities:
assist in sourcing and developments of all components to meet the design’s expectation.
apply effective systems of quality management and regulatory standards, both internally and with vendors to support the fabric material and color development process and assure final product quality.
take control of the submissions with responsibility for the interpretation and communication of all departmental laboratory testing. liaise with international lab – follow certification updates
support onboarding and calibration of vendors to ensure their capabilities meet the business expectations
follow the business calendar timeline to assure the operations on track
consolidate and maintain data update and prepare reports for analysis
prepare products checkpoints and train qc for production inspection
ensure conformity of inspection reports
liaise with customer for quality related document, testing planning etc.
involve in product validation / certification
requirements:
bachelor degree holder of technical education in textile science or equivalent
3 years of related experience in fabric, print and color development in related product category(-ies), as well as in quality assurance in textile industry.
good command of written and spoken english and chinese.
good command of computer skills, especially microsoft excel.
proactive and willing to learn
occasional travel is required -
Quality Supervisor:
leads quality operations on product & compliance (en standard)
ensure compliance and safety of products
create value (customer and economical) through quality perception and experience
contribute to treat non-conformity and secure our customers and our businesses
follow up non-conforming from the supplier audit, during-process inspection, pre-shipment inspection, quality complaints from internal customers, product returns and safety recalls. identify / drive root cause analysis, corrective action and preventive action implementation.
support sourcing team on new product launch by new factory pre-qualification prior to on-boarding.
develop quality culture within his/her ecosystem
contribute to industrialization of projects for product task
requirement for successful applicant
minimum of 2 years’ experience in laboratory or inspection company.
minimum of 2 years’ experience in manufacturing company.
strong knowledge on power tools/garden/plug/socket/electrical/furniture products and related regulations (i.e., fsc).
strong skills in english.
excellent communication and cooperation are necessary.

experience in electrical appliance with understanding of international latest regulation and standard (ce, lvd, emc, rohs, erp, etc.)
product knowledge in power tools/ lightings/ for eu market
previous working experience in quality position (manufacturer / lab)
computer literature (windows/ outlook/ ms-office)
able to communicate with lab / factory / customer independently and follow product development and validation -
