main purpose of job
· understand the requirements from various business / department and propose
purchasing solutions to support daily operation.
key responsibilities
· responsible for activity of machine parts, machine maintenance service;
· understand the requirements from various business projects/daily operation,
for sourcing products and outsourced processes, including heat treatment
processes, production tools, manufacturing processes and products which needs
turning, grinding, milling, cutting, bending, polishing, etching, etc.;
· prepare inquiries, analyze quotations, negotiate terms and conditions, and
determine supply sources;
· maintain purchasing data in sap (vendor data, supply sources, supply
conditions, purchase contacts, etc.), keep daily monitoring and renewing;
· work closely with production, maintenance, engineering, quality, etc.,
participate in make-or-buy decisions, fulfill the demands of outsourcing;
· conduct activities in supplier searching, evaluation, qualification, and
improvement;
· coordinate with the purchasing team at headquarter for supporting or
initiating international/national sourcing projects;
· prepare statistical analysis and sourcing reports, conduct supply market
research, develop sourcing strategy and plans;
· manage and archive the documents in daily work, keep in compliance to legal
requirements and company policy;
· frame contract ｅｘｅｃution and follow up the supplier performance;
· focus on localization, identify the outsource product families;
· quality and tco awareness to ensure parts are produced to the company’s
specification;
· work in close collaboration with gpu shanghai / global category managers,
sales and end users, to ensure local acceptance and implementation of sourcing
strategy;
· follow up goods ｄｅｌivery, bpopen (capgemini system) and supplier payments
qualifications
· university degree preferably in engineering and/or business management or
equivalent
· over 5 years solid work experience with proven career track and
achievements in areas of purchasing and supply chain
· good business overview and to understand the connection between purchasing
and manufacturing.

· strong organizing, planning & analysis skills
· good negotiating and communication skills with external and internal
business partners, and has strong commercial experiences and contract skills.
