- lead on programs milestones financial input and reporting, while work with china / global cross functions (pd programs, purchasing, marketing, mp&l teams and etc.).
- checking / identifying qualified financial input, consolidating cross-functional data, tracking roadmap implementation.
- lead the work with pd profit team on vehicle profit moｄｅｌs to provide solid financial status covering markets profits & investment outlook - lead revenue and cost analysis, issue to issue analysis and cross-vehicle benchmarking working with multiple functions to ensure alignment on management reporting.
- lead business plan and annual budget with asia pacific profit team.
- evaluate business risks and opportunities on cost, revenue and investment and support. resolution through cross-functional team meetings and escalation where appropriate
- lead subject：specific deep dives as required to understand the program financial status. carry out other ad hoc assignments, support or activities as required by the business. identify and implement process improvements.

responsibilities:
?lead technical interface between ford product development team and key battery suppliers
?lead development of battery suppliers for the ford ev programs in china in partnership with global technical team
?maintain interaction with world-wide advanced chemistry, material science and engineering activities for batteries, and recommend opportunities for ford management.
?follow the development of emerging battery technologies through participation in international scientific symposia and through a regular review of the technical and patent literature and through the press.
?supervise testing and analysis of advanced battery and module prototypes in the ford battery test laboratory.
?support technical management of advanced battery development programs, including responsibility for financial and scheduling activities.
?conduct technical analysis (including engineering, engineering, chemistry and material science aspects), review and reporting on all advanced battery development programs to ford management and to others.
?support electric vehicle programs and development activities.

qualifications:
?minimum m.s. in chemistry or chemical engineering
?minimum of 5- 8 years of experience and technical leadership in one or more of the following:
?lfp(lithium iron phosphate) based cathode li ion cell design, testing, manufacturing.
?very familiar with lfp cathode material design, optimizing, testing and manufacturing;
?experience of lfp cell mass production
?battery and cell testing and evaluation for electric vehicle applications;
?practice and direction of battery engineering and research;
?proficient in the following basic skill areas: project management and financial control, technical report preparation, oral presentation, meeting leadership, team-oriented problem solving, engineering statistics, experimental design, and computer analysis of data.

?strong english language communication skills

overall responsibilities



this position is to support ip protection strategy in china, responsible for ip related job of ford china legal entities including joint venture. require to interact with members of the mss, pd and purchasing teams in china and keep close working relationships with ip colleagues globally

support ip counsel to manage trademark job of china, including trademark searching, trademark watching, jv trademark management and data analysis
provide ip process consultation to cross-function departments (mss, pd, purchasing, public affairs, etc.).
support agreement drafting and management
support confidentiality issue management
monitor chinese ip law, regulations, sipo practice guiｄｅｌines and important ip cases updating (provide report once a quarter).


qualifications:

bachelor degree and above in law from a well-respected university;
minimum 3 years’ legal professional experience in ip firms or intellectual property dept. of mncs is preferred.
good english oral and written communication skills, good data analysis skill, with working knowledge of ms office suite(excel, word, ppt), adobe, autocad, etc.
self-motivated, good at interact with clients, good time control skills, good team player;
be proficient at china ip law and contract law, familiar with us ip law
china attorney qualification is a must;
