岗位职责
1、为产品开发团队和采购团队提供技术支持，进行样品评估、检验
2、参加预生产和试生产会议
3、根据检验标准进行现场产品检验，确保产品质量符合basketville的质量标准
4、进行现场质量审核，监控生产周期内质量控制流程的有效性
5、在出现质量问题或客户投诉的情况下，提供根本原因分析和问题解决方案
6、与供应商合作执行质量改进计划，并监控实施结果
7、探索新的技术和方法，以提高产品质量。如果适用，将其应用/部署到生产流程中
8、完成其他指派的任务
能力要求：
1、具备识别和避免利益冲突的能力，始终把公司的最佳利益放在第一位，并且保持良好的声誉
2、在质量检验和管理方面拥有5年以上的经验，最好是有与主要零售商如target、walmart、ikea、tjx合作的经验
3、有手工艺品行业的知识者优先考虑：手工行业、手工编织篮、金属工艺和木质家具
4、 熟悉使用质量工具和原则，如fmea、8d和pdca
5、良好的分析能力，能够解析质量数据

job purpose ：
the quality assurance engineer will take the responsibility of on-site audits and product inspections to ensure the product quality consistently meets basketville quality standard. the candidate will also be responsible for quality defect root cause analysis, problem solving, quality plan implementation, and quality control process validation throughout the production cycle.
responsibilities：
1、provide on-site support to product development team and sourcing team on sample inspection.
2、participate in the on-site pre-production and pilot-run meetings.
3、conduct on-site product inspections according to inspection criteria to ensure the product quality meets basketville quality standard.
4、conduct on-site quality assurance audits to monitor the effectiveness of quality control process throughout the production cycle.
5、provide root cause analysis and problem solving in case of any quality issue or customer complaint.
6、collaborate with the supplier to ｅｘｅｃute quality improvement plan and monitor on implementation result.
7、search for new techniques and methodologies to improve product quality. if appropriate, apply/deploy them in the manufacturing process.

job purpose

the merchandiser will take full acｃｏｕｎｔability for the ｅｘｅｃution of sample development and cost quotations based on design direction. close communication with suppliers at a high level of detail is needed to see a project through. besides communication with china-based suppliers, he/she must have excellent reading and writing english skills to communicate daily with our us teams.


responsibilities

take acｃｏｕｎｔability for the ｅｘｅｃution of sample development based on design direction
review, analyze and translate (as needed) detailed product specifications, design directions, quotations, and sample requests from us design teams.
identify cost savings measures in production, materials, packing, logistics, etc.
collaborate with sales, sourcing, and factory compliance teams to identify appropriate factories to produce products.
become familiar with product composition, manufacturing processes and costs.
perform price analysis and negotiate with suppliers for the lowest cost.
participate in daily cross-functional team meetings to advance projects.
search new techniques and methodologies to improve product quality. if appropriate, apply/deploy them in the manufacturing process
travel as needed to visit factories and opportunity for buyer trip to canton fair.
