Mazda Corporation Originally established in January 1920, Mazda started manufacturing tools in 1929 and soon branched out into production of trucks for commercial use. In the early 1960s, Mazda launched its first passenger car models and began developing rotary engines. Still headquartered in Hiroshima in western Japan, Mazda Motor Corporation today ranks as one of Japan’s leading automakers.

马自达始建于1920年1月，于1929年开始生产工具并很快扩张到生产商用卡车。在上世纪60年代早期，马自达开发了其首辆乘用车模型并开始开发引擎。总部仍然位于日本西部广岛市的马自达汽车株式会社，今天已经成为日本领先的汽车生产企业之一。

Mazda joined Ford Motor Company, now its largest shareholder, in 1992. Named after the ancient god of wisdom, Mazda is proud of its heritage of innovation in creating distinctive vehicles for discerning drivers. Mazda is now actively expanding its business in China.
