mtu engineering (suzhou) co. ltd. was setup in suzhou industrial park (sip) in 1996 as the mtu service center, with training facility and workshop serving all mtu customers in china. in march 2006, to cater for the expanded role to assemble mtu diesel engines in china, the company has moved into the new factory located at 9 long yun road, sip.
the new engine manufacturing plant for the mtu engine series 2000 for power generation, being the third production sites of mtu, is equipped with modern computer controlled engine test bench, an environmentally friendly paint booth, a well equipped quality control department and specialists from mtu in germany, the diesel engines assembled are produced in strict compliance with mtu’s stringent production and quality standards.
