梅赛德斯奔驰文化中心建筑面积16万平方米，是一个集综合演艺、艺术展示、时尚娱乐于一体的综合性文化娱乐聚集区。它拥有一个可以容纳18000座、多功能的大型演艺场馆，具有上海首个满足nba赛事要求的标准场地、首个满足国际冰上赛事及冰上表演的标准场地，同时设有音乐俱乐部、电影院、熘冰场、景观餐厅，以及近2万平方米的商业零售、文化休闲娱乐区。
