in 1996 alumeco began exporting windmill parts that had not been made in aluminium before. these new windlmill parts in aluminium were therefore a great success and the windmill part of alumeco's business grew significantly. therefore it was decided to establish a company to handle these windmill parts seperately from alumeco, and aluwind was established in 2008.
in 2010 aluwind set up a subsidiary in the us to improve the service to partners located in this market and explore new opportunities. during the fall of 2011 aluwind also established a subsidiary in china.
